Is Spring Springing??

Hello Farm Friends,

A few temps in the 60-70 degree range, mostly sunny days with adequate rainfall...could it be spring? We sure are hoping so and are itching to ditch our winter clothes, blahs and get all things green going again here on the farm! Winter is a time of planning and plugging here on our farm and Spring is a time to set all of that planning into motion. Speaking of motion--Spring is also a very welcome relief to my almost 4 yr old...man our house is soooo thankful he is able to get outdoors more! We are very eager to get things in the ground...yet a very painful spot still exists from last year's late freeze in April which keeps us from getting too froggy and taking too many risks. Nevertheless...the early tomatoes and peppers are in the ground in the hoophouses and onions, potatoes, broccoli, beets and peas are in the ground outdoors! If Spring is not truly here it has to be on its way! Yipee!
